Cops: Man Robs Thomaston Gas Station at Gunpoint
A similar incident occurred in New Hyde Park, police say

A man robbed a Thomaston gas station at gunpoint Monday evening, authorities said.
Nassau detectives say a man entered the BP Gas Station located at 655 Northern Boulevard at 6:20 p.m., displayed a black handgun and demanded the attendant to hand over the cash from the register. The subject fired a round into the wall, causing no injuries. He fled with an undetermined amount of cash on foot and headed west on Northern Boulevard.
A similar incident occurred in New Hyde Park, where a suspect fired a round inside a BP station, police say. There were no reported injuries in the New Hyde Park incident.

The suspect is described as approximately 5’7” tall and 150 pounds. He was wearing dark jacket, dark pants, dark gloves and a dark mask over his face, police say.
