LIU Post Students Arrested in Campus Drug Bust

Two students are charged with multiple felonies for selling "club drug."

Two students at Long Island University Post campus in Brookville were arrested Tuesday at 10 p.m. for allegedly possessing and selling a quantity of MDMA, or Ecstasy, according to the Nassau County Police Department.

Police issued a press release saying Frank Catalano, 20, of Brooklyn and Ryan Sloane, 20, of Westbury were observed selling the substance and were arrested by the department's Asset Forfeiture Unit.

They are being charged with second- and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminal possession of marijuana and fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, all felonies.

They will be arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead on Wednesday.
