Man Arrested After Two Non-Fatal THC Overdoses In Great Neck: Police

A 22-year-old man was arrested after two young children overdosed on the THC products he sold them in Great Neck, police said.

GREAT NECK, NY — A Brooklyn man was arrested Friday in connection to two non-fatal THC overdoses in Great Neck, according to authorities.

Nassau County police said Rashid Ali, 22, sold the Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) products to two young children, ages 12 and 13, at the Exotic Smoke Shop at 8 Station Plaza South. He was arrested without incident.

Ali was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, criminal sale of a controlled substance in the fifth degree, and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree, police said.
