Man Arrested For Burglarizing North Hills Home: Police

A Queens man has been arrested one month after he broke into a North Hills home, police say.

NORTH HILLS, NY — Authorities say a man who broke into a North Hills home last month has been arrested.

Nassau County police announced Wednesday that 38-year-old Antonelly Castro-Cuadrado was arrested at his home in Queens following a month-long investigation into a burglary that took place on the morning of Feb 23.

Castro-Cuadrado is accused of breaking into the home shortly before 8 a.m. and stealing cash and jewelry.

During the investigation, Castro-Cuadrado gave detectives an "illegally obtained New York State driver's license," police said.

Castro-Cuadrado has been charged with burglary and offering a false instrument for filing. He was scheduled to appear in Hempstead's First District Court on Wednesday.
