Man Offers Teen Girl Booze And Drugs, Nassau Police Say
BREAKING: Police say the Queens man tried to meet with the 14-year-old, showing up with a bottle of booze and Molly.

GREAT NECK PLAZA, NY β A Queens man has been arrested after police said he tried to give a 14-year-old girl alcohol and drugs.
Tarandeep Oberoi, 33, of Jamaica Avenue, texted the teen Sunday offering to sell her booze and marijuana, Nassau County police said. On Monday night, a detective posing as a child texted Oberoi to arrange a meeting in front of a Chelsea Place residence so he could sell MDMA, also known as Molly, police said.
Oberoi drove to the meeting in a 2017 Honda with a bottle of alcohol and an alcoholic drink in the cupholder, police said. He was immediately taken into custody.

No one was hurt.
Oberoi was charged with attempted endangering the welfare of a child and attempted unlawfully dealing with a child. He appeared in a Hempstead court Tuesday.
