Police Release Video, Sketch of Mineola Murder Suspect

Nassau Police released a video and sketch of the man they say shot and killed Oscar Alfredo Ventura Granados in Mineola on Jan. 11.

Police say the man fatally shot Granados, who was walking on Roslyn Road in Mineola.

Back in Janurary, police said Granados, also known as “Mineola” and “Alfredo,” was accosted by the subject before being killed. The man fled the scene in an unknown direction, according to police.

Granados may have been targeted, authorities said in January.

Crime Stoppers is asking anyone who can identify the subject, or has any information about this crime to call the toll free hotline: 1-800-244-TIPS (8477), or any member of Nassau County Homicide Squad at: 516-573-7788.

Crime Stoppers offers up $5,000 for information leading up to an arrest, and says people do not need to reveal their identity to help solve this crime.
