'Stop Asian Hate With Education' Rally Planned For Great Neck: May 21
People will be rallying in support of legislation that would require students to learn about Asian-American history and contributions.

GREAT NECK, NY — Demonstrators are expected to gather in Great Neck on Saturday in support of Asian-American communities.
Local cultural groups will join students, teachers, and lawmakers who support expanding Asian-American history education in classrooms across New York State. The goal of the legislation is to stop Asian-American hate and violence.
The "Stop Asian Hate with Education" rally, as it's dubbed, is hosted by New York State Sens. Anna Kaplan and John Liu, Assemblywoman Gina Sillitti, and U.S. Rep. Grace Meng.
