Suspect Sought In Great Neck Plaza Burglary
Police have released a description of the suspect who unlawfully entered an apartment building in town.

Police now have a description of the man they suspect of burglarizing a Great Neck Plaza apartment on Tuesday.
Patch previously were called to 13 Welwyn Road at around 3:05p.m., after a superintendent of the building noticed an apartment door left wide open. Police dogs were called to the area to search for the perpetrator. Patch and others also observed what seemed to be police helicopters circling the immediate area, though Nassau County Police did not confirm they were doing an air search.
Nassau County Police now reveal that a witness observed the suspect jumping from the apartment's second floor window, and then limping away on foot. Police say they are looking for a man who is 6’1” tall, with blonde hair and a goatee. He was wearing a black shirt, black shorts and carrying a black backpack at the time he was seen leaving the apartment.

Police say nothing has yet been reported stolen from the apartment he was spotted jumping out of.
