Woman Arrested In Stabbing Tried To 'Rid House Of Evil:' Report
A 66-year-old woman faces a second-degree murder charge.

Nassau Police say they have made an arrest in a fatal stabbing inside a Great Neck home on Monday afternoon.
According to authorities, 66-year-old Great Neck resident Faye Doomchin stabbed a 60-year-old woman inside her North Road home 3:52 p.m.
Det. Lt. Stephen Fitzpatrick told ABC the woman, who had a mutual male friend with Doomchin, was visiting from England. Doomchin stabbed the woman in the chest with a kitchen knife to "rid the house of evil," the report says.

The 60-year-old woman, who police have not yet named, was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
Doomchin is charged with second-degree murder.
