2 Dix Hills High Schools Make U.S. News 2024 'Best' Rankings
See how the two Half Hollow Hills School District buildings ranked among Long Island public high schools.
DIX HILLS, NY — Both Dix Hills high schools were named among the best public high schools on Long Island, as well as the best in the country, according to U.S. News & World Report, which ranked the 2024 Best High Schools.
Half Hollow Hills High School East was ranked No. 11 on Long Island, while Half Hollow Hills High School West was ranked No. 15 on the island.
East placed No. 55 in New York and No. 421 nationally, while West placed No. 63 in the state and No. 532 in the country. Both schools are part of the Half Hollow Hills Central School District.
