Half Hollow Hills 2025-26 School Budget Passes Easily
The Half Hollow Hills School District budget has passed this year.
DIX HILLS, NY — Residents within the boundaries of the Half Hollow Hills School District on Tuesday voted to pass the 2025-26 school budget by a margin of 967 yes votes to 312 no votes.
The district's budget is $307,664,521, up 2.93 percent from last year's. The tax levy is $236,595,556, up 2.76 percent.
School board incumbent Nadia Pervez Bilal and newcomer Donna Smawley ran unopposed. Eric Geringswald is not seeking reelection. Terms are three years.
