Lanes Closed In Long Island Expressway Crash
A box truck and another vehicle crashed, police said.
MELVILLE, NY — A crash caused two lanes to close on the Long Island Expressway in Melville on Thursday afternoon, according to 511 NY.
A box truck and another vehicle collided on the westbound L.I.E. between Exit 50 - Bagatelle Road (Huntington) and Exit 49N - Route 110 (Huntington) around 1:15 p.m., Suffolk police told Patch. No one was injured, police said.
The left lane and HOV lanes were closed but have since reopened.
