Water Main Break Closes Lane On Route 231 In Dix Hills
The lane is expected to remain closed for the rest of the morning and into the afternoon.
DIX HILLS, NY — One of two right lanes is closed on New York State Route 231 in Dix Hills because of a water main break on Friday, according to 511 NY.
The break occurred on the northbound route north of Woodedge Drive; Deforest Road (Huntington) around 7:30 a.m., according to 511 NY. The lane is expected to remain closed until 3 p.m.
