19-Year-Old Sexually Abused On Public Bus In Manhattan, Police Say

HARLEM, NY —Police are searching for a man who sexually abused a teenage girl on a public bus in Harlem on Wednesday, New York City Police Department officials said Thursday.

According to the NYPD, the girl was aboard an M101 bus approaching West 125th Street and Adam Clayton Powell Jr Boulevard on Wednesday at 9:42 a.m. when a man grabbed the 19-year-old from behind and pressed his groin up against her buttocks.

Then, the man exited the bus at West 135th Street and Amsterdam Avenue and ran away, police said.

Police said no arrests have been made yet, but the investigation is ongoing.
