Cops Revive Army Vet From Overdose In East Harlem
Two police officers in East Harlem performed lifesaving efforts on an army veteran suffering from an overdose, authorities said Tuesday.
EAST HARLEM, NY - Two police officers in East Harlem performed lifesaving efforts on an army veteran suffering from an overdose, authorities said Tuesday.
While on patrol in the neighborhood, officers Reaz Alli and Thomas Collado from the 23rd precinct administered Narcan to the veteran, effectively reversing an overdose, police said.
“An Army veteran in East Harlem is alive today thanks to the quick actions of these @NYPD23Pct officers,” NYPD Chief of Department Jeffrey Maddrey said in a statement.
