NEW YORK, NY--Harlem’s historic Riverton complex celebrated 78 years with a Family Day that drew over 300 of its residents for barbeque, face painters, bounce castles, cotton candy and family-friendly entertainment last Saturday afternoon. FDNY was also on-site teaching first aid. The annual party was hosted by the Riverton Tenants Association in co-sponsorship with A&E Real Estate, which has managed Riverton since 2015.

The festival was held in the Riverton Square courtyard, and residents were joined by New York State Senator Cordell Cleare, State Assembly Member Inez Dickens, City Councilman Yusef Salaam, and State Assembly Member and Riverton resident Jordan Wright.

“We are so proud to sponsor Family Day each year with the Riverton Tenants Association to bring our neighbors, community and our representatives together for a beautiful summer day in Harlem. This is our favorite day of the year at Riverton,” said Maggie McCormick, President of A&E Real Estate.
