EAST HARLEM, NY — A fire broke out on the seventh floor of the Taft Houses on Monday afternoon, New York City Fire Department officials said.

According to the FDNY, the fire broke out at 65 East 112th Street between Park Avenue and Madison Avenue just before 2 p.m.

Around 78 firefighters and medics responded to the scene and got the fire under control around half an hour later, at 2:27 p.m.

No injuries were reported, and the cause is under investigation by the FDNY's Fire Marshals, authorities said.
