Fire Breaks Out At Harlem's King Towers: FDNY

The 12th floor fire began late Thursday night, officials said.

HARLEM, NY — A fire broke out on the 12th floor of a Harlem building Thursday night, officials said.

At around 10 p.m., firefighters responded to a report of a blaze on the 12th floor of a 14-story building on Fifth Ave. and 115th Street, part of the King Towers, FDNY officials said.

Nearly 80 first responders and firefighters responded to the fire, the department said.

Officials said it took fire teams about 30 minutes to get the fire under control.

No injuries were reported.
