A Group Violently Robs Man In Manhattan, Police Say
Four suspects kicked and punched the victim in the face before taking his cell phone and wallet, police said.

HARLEM, NY — Police are searching for suspects after a 49-year-old man was attacked and robbed in Harlem, New York City Police Department officials said.
According to the NYPD, the victim was standing on Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard near West 134th Street on Aug. 26 when four people approached him.
The group started an argument with the victim at 3:15 a.m. and then began punching him until he fell to the ground, police said. Police did not say what the argument was about.

Once on the ground, the group started kicking him and punching him in the face, police said. Before running away, the group took his wallet and cellphone, police said.
The victim was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem in stable condition with minor abrasions, police said.

Police have not made any arrests yet, but they are searching for four suspects — three men and one woman. Police have released surveillance photos of the suspects.
