Madison Avenue Bodega Robbed At Knifepoint For $300, Police Say

The perpetrator lunged at a worker with a knife and ran off with $300.

HARLEM, NY — Police were looking Tuesday for a man who robbed a bodega at knifepoint for $300 in Harlem, New York City Police Department officials said.

According to the NYPD, the man entered 1550 Madison Ave., at the corner of East 105th Street, at 7:24 a.m. on Friday and displayed a knife and removed $300 from behind the counter.

Then, the man lunged at the 64-year-old man with the knife before running away, police said.

Police are still investigating the incident and have not made any arrests yet.
