Harlem Breakfast Club: New Restaurant Opens In Neighborhood
One of Central Harlem's newest openings is an all-day breakfast joint dishing out Southern-style classics and plant-based dishes.
HARLEM, NY — One of Harlem's latest restaurant openings is an all-day breakfast takeout spot serving up classics and plant-based dishes.
Harlem Breakfast Club opened on Aug. 6 at 2167 Adam Clayton Powell, Jr. Blvd., in a small storefront previously home to Mikel's Xpress and B & K French Cuisine before it.
On the menu: expected items like pancakes and waffles, brunch food like Avocado toast, Southern-style dishes like fried catfish, salmon cakes, and shrimp and grits, and a "Harlem Scramble" featuring cage-free eggs, sausage, smoked gouda and vegetables.

A vegan section, meanwhile, offers a plant-based "Harlem Skillet" with JUST Egg, Beyond Sausage, and vegetables; a sausage-egg-and-cheese sandwich; and a stack of pancakes available in blueberry, strawberry or banana walnut.
Its motto, "Breakfast All Day," is apt — Harlem Breakfast Club is open for takeout from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday, according to its Google listing. Orders can be placed by calling 646-930-2006.
