How do you know the teacher?

I've known Chelbie since she was 3 years old! My Mom used to call her "pancake buddy". Every Sunday, Chelbie's mom would bring her before going to work & the two of them would have Sunday Brunch.

Chelbie is a Harlem native who approaches her profession with passion & humility. She is a great example of what faith & perseverance can do!

Second grade..strong expertise in Literacy

Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

Chelbie has consistently shown a strong work ethic, with the qualifications to guarantee a successful outcome, no matter the task. She's completed her graduate studies & has taught for twelve years thus far. Chelbie has been instrumental in creating an environment in which her students can thrive. Families that she has worked with have seen the positive impact. Chelbie has led book fairs, STEM projects, worked on various fundraising programs for school supplies, etc... She's an avid member of her spiritual community, an accomplished marathoner, licensed tutor & embarking on her post graduate studies. Knowing Chelbie's passion for life, respect for education & her willingness to go the extra mile...are the qualities that led me to mention her for a "Shout Out!"

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

Chelbie's passion for her chosen profession & she is truly there.. when you need her... I'm so glad my Mom met them, or else I may have never known. Peace and Blessings :)
