The original Patsy’s on 1st Ave. near 117th St. in East Harlem opened in 1933, having been the dream of a pair of Italian immigrants, Pasquale and Carmella Lancieri. Since then, it has become synonymous around the city with authentic Sicilian coal oven pizza.
