HARLEM, NY — Harlem's hopping Restaurant Row has a new addition: Rosa Pizza, an outpost of a longtime Queens-based pizzeria.

The Harlem slice shop opened last week at 2210 Frederick Douglass Blvd., on the corner of West 119th Street, as the Curious Uptowner first reported.

While the Harlem location does not appear to have a website or online menu, a manager who answered the phone on Thursday told Patch that its offerings will be the same as at Rosa's other locations — in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and Maspeth, Queens.

Pizzas on the menu there include round and square pies with toppings like buffalo chicken, ravioli with vodka sauce, eggplant, caprese and margarita, plus vegan and gluten free sections, pasta dishes, sides like garlic knots and pepperoni pinwheels, and hearty entrées including chicken parmigiana and shrimp francese.

Wine and beer will also be available, according to a snapshot of its menu.

The family-owned shop was founded in 1975 in Maspeth by a group of eight brothers, according to Rosa's website.

Work first began around January on Rosa's new Harlem location, formerly home to Moca Lounge, as Harlem Bespoke documented at the time.

Interior photos posted by the restaurant show a sleek, tiled floor with a counter, bar-style seating, several booths and an exposed brick wall.

People can place orders for delivery or pickup at the Harlem location by calling 917-409-0099, or 917-409-0236. The shop also does catering.
