Man Dead In East Harlem Stabbing, Suspect Charged: Police
A man died following a stabbing at Odyssey House in East Harlem on Thursday. Police charged a suspect early Friday morning.

HARLEM, NY – A man was stabbed inside a residential addiction treatment facility in East Harlem on Thursday afternoon, a police spokesperson told Patch.
At about 2 p.m. on Thursday, police responded to a 911 call regarding an assault in progress inside Odyssey House at 219 East 121 Street near 3rd Avenue.
At the scene, cops found a 41-year-old man with multiple stab wounds to his torso. Emergency responders transported the man to Harlem Hospital but could not save him.

Just after midnight on Friday, police arrested Julian Parks, a 42-year-old man who listed Odyssey House as his address, in connection with the incident.
Parks was charged with murder in the second degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree – two felonies – officials said.

Authorities are withholding the name of the victim while they attempt to locate his family.
