Man Pummeled With Brass Knuckles In Harlem Sidewalk Brawl: VIDEO

Video shows a man being wrestled to the ground and hit with brass knuckles during a fight on a Harlem street corner. A suspect is sought.

HARLEM, NY — A fight on a Harlem street corner ended with a man pounding another man in the head with brass knuckles, according to police, who released video of the brazen assault on Tuesday.

The May 14 incident began on the corner of Lenox Avenue and West 145th Street, when a 20-year-old man and the unidentified suspect got into an argument around 10 p.m.

As the argument escalated into a brawl, the suspect put brass knuckles on both of his hands and began punching the 20-year-old in the head repeatedly, according to police.

Video shows the suspect wrestling the man to the ground on the sidewalk, then holding him down as he pummels his head for nearly 10 seconds while people watch from afar.

Police described the suspect as a man between the ages of 33 and 36, standing about 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighing about 160 pounds. He was wearing a black T-shirt and dark-colored pants.
