Man Shot In Head In Manhattan, Police Say

EAST HARLEM, NY — A man was shot in the head in East Harlem Sunday night, and is in critical condition, New York City Police Department officials said.

According to the NYPD, the 23-year-old was gunned down outside of 310 East 113th St., which is part of the New York City Housing Authority's Thomas Jefferson Houses on Second Avenue.

Police told Patch the 23-year-old was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem in critical condition, but he is expected to survive.
