Man Slashed Across Face, Neck In Broad Daylight Attack In Manhattan, Police Say

EAST HARLEM, NY — A man was slashed across the face and neck on Wednesday morning in East Harlem, New York City Police Department officials told Patch.

According to the NYPD, the victim was near East 122nd Street and Third Avenue at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday when another man slashed him with a knife.

Police said the victim was rushed to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem in stable condition, and the perpetrator ran away in an unknown direction.

Police said it was unknown what led up to the slashing, or whether the victim knew the perpetrator.
