Mom, Baby Pelted By Rocks While Sitting On Harlem Park Bench: Police
Police are looking for a man who repeatedly threw rocks at a family sitting on a bench in a Harlem park, hitting an infant in the face.

HARLEM, NY — A mom and baby sitting on a Harlem park bench were pelted with rocks by a stranger, according to police, who are now looking for the rock-thrower.
The 26-year-old woman was sitting on a bench inside Jackie Robinson Park on June 5 around 4 p.m., along with her six-week-old son.
An unidentified man then began throwing rocks "repeatedly" at the family, including one that struck the woman in the shoulder and then bounced off, hitting her infant boy on the right side of his face.

The baby suffered only a scratch, and the mom and infant were both treated at the scene by paramedics, police said.
The man fled on foot inside the park, police said.

Police on Thursday released an image showing the man inside the park, and asked anyone with information to call the NYPD Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). People can also submit tips online or on Twitter, @NYPDTips.
