Harlem Slasher Stabs 2 In Head, Still At-Large : Police

HARLEM, NY — A slasher stabbed two people in Harlem Monday afternoon, police said, leaving both with wounds to the head, officials said.

As of Tuesday morning, the stabber is still at large, police said.

The violence took place on West 125th Street near Malcolm X Boulevard at about 2 p.m., police said.

A 20-year-old man was stabbed in the head and right wrist, police said.

Officers later found a 39-year-old man with stab wounds to the back of the head, officials told Patch. The police spokesperson couldn't specify where the second man was found or how long after he was discovered after officers arrived to the scene.

Both men were rushed to Harlem Hospital in stable condition, police said.

An NYPD spokesperson said they had no information regarding the still at-large suspect Tuesday morning, but sait that the investigation remains ongoing.
