Pimp 'Prays' Woman Trafficked In NYC Is Still Alive: Report
Sex trafficker Ishi Woney spoke about missing woman Corinna Slusser during his sentencing on Tuesday.

NEW YORK, NY — A convicted sex trafficker said Tuesday that he is praying a Pennsylvania woman who went missing two years ago after falling victim to a sex ring in New York City is still alive, according to reports.
Ishi Woney, who was sentenced to 15 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to sex trafficking of a minor, spoke after hearing Corinna Slusser's mother in court, the New York Post reported. Sabina Tuorto asked Woney to reveal where her daughter was and if she was alive.
"Honestly, I don’t know. I never passed her off to anybody," Woney said in court, as reported by the Post. "Is she dead or alive? I’m honestly not sure, but I pray she’s alive."

Slusser was reported missing on Sept. 20, 2017 and was last seen at the Haven Motel in Rego Park, Queens, police told Patch. Although she was last seen in Queens, Slusser was reported missing within Harlem's 32nd police precinct where she was likely living at the time of her disappearance.
Slusser was 19-years-old at the time of her disappearance and investigators told family members that she may have moved to New York City with a man who roped her into a sex trafficking ring, according to a Dateline investigation.

Relatives of Slusser described her as a small-town cheerleader who moved to New York City in search of a more exciting life without knowing the danger she was getting in to. Slusser met a man who promised her a safe place to live in New York City and moved in the summer of 2017. That summer Slusser took out an order of protection against the man after she reported he assaulted her in her Harlem home, Dateline reported.
Slusser, now in her 20s, is described as standing 5-foot-6 with blonde hair and blue eyes, police said. She has a large black tattoo of a flower in the middle of her chest, police told Patch.
