16-Year-Old Accused of Murder In Manhattan, Police Say
The 16-year-old boy was accused of murdering a 34-year-old Harlem man.

HARLEM, NY — Police have arrested a 16-year-old in Harlem, charging him with the killing of 34-year-old Christopher Jimenez, New York City Police Department officials said Thursday.
According to the NYPD, the teenager was arrested on April 29 at 4:20 p.m. and charged with murder in the second degree and assault in both the first and second degrees.
The boy was also charged with various weapon-related charges, authorities said.

Jimenez was shot in the chest at his housing complex at 545 West 126th St. on April 17 around 5 p.m., NYPD officials said.
Upon arrival, medics rushed Jimenez to Mount Sinai Morningside, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The arrest of the teenager is the second arrest in the case.
On April 23, a 29-year-old man named Angel Celpa, from the same housing complex, was also arrested.
Police charged Celpa with assault in the third degree and three counts of criminal possession of a weapon.
