Teen In Critical Condition After Shooting In Harlem: Police

Officers found the teen with a gunshot wound to the abdomen, police said.

NEW YORK — A teen was in critical condition after a shooting Tuesday in Harlem, according to police.

Officers responded around 6:45 p.m. to a 911 call about an assault at an address in the 2600 block of Frederick Douglass Boulevard, police said. They arrived to find an 18-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the abdomen who was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem in critical but stable condition, according to police.

No one was immediately arrested, police said, and the investigation is ongoing.
