Teen Wounded In Early AM East Harlem Shooting: NYPD

A 19-year-old was shot in the stomach early on Wednesday, officials said.

HARLEM, NY — A teen was injured in an early morning shooting in East Harlem on Wednesday, police said.

The 19-year-old man was shot on East 112th Street near Third Avenue outside of the Johnson Houses at around 3:30 a.m., officials said.

First responders found the wounded teen had a gunshot wound in his stomach and rushed him to Harlem Hospital in stable condition, police said.

According to an NYPD spokesperson, the shooter was an unknown man dressed in all black, and added that the victim has not been especially cooperative with investigators.
