Where To Get Free Eggs In NYC This Friday
At each location, the volunteers will give away 100 dozens of free eggs.
HARLEM, NY — This Friday, three local New York City businesses will be hosting free egg giveaways to help locals keep up with the skyrocketing prices of eggs amid the fast rise in bird flu cases.
The events, which will be in Bed-Stuy, Astoria and Harlem, are hosted by FarmerJawn, a regenerative organic farm in the Philadelphia area founded by Christa Barfield. This news was first published by Pix11.
Barfield won a James Beard Leadership Award in 2024 for her work building an accessible, educational farm with a social mission to bring fresh produce to underserved city areas.
