Woman Killed In East Harlem Home, Partner Charged With Murder: Cops
There were three kids in the East 112th Street home when 32-year-old Marisol Duran was repeatedly stabbed to death, sources said.
HARLEM, NY — A woman was stabbed to death by a man she knew in their East Harlem apartment while three children were at home, according to police and sources.
Carmelo Castillo, 36, stands accused of stabbing Marisol Duran, 32, in their apartment on East 112th Street and Lexington Avenue about 6:25 a.m., police said.
Duran was rushed to Metropolitan Hospital, where she died, and Castillo was arrested later that day on charges that include murder, manslaughter and endangering the welfare of a child, according to police.

Three kids were in the home at the time of the attack and taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation, sources said.
Court records show Castillo is slated to be arraigned Monday in Manhattan Criminal Court.
