Woman Shot In Harlem Tuesday Afternoon: Police

A woman was hospitalized after she was shot in both legs in Harlem on Tuesday afternoon, according to officials.

HARLEM, NY – A 45-year-old woman was shot in Harlem on Tuesday afternoon, a police spokesperson told Patch.

The shooting happened at about 1:45 p.m., police said, near the corner of West 114th Street and St. Nicholas Avenue.

Emergency responders transported the victim, who was shot in each leg, to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital in stable condition.

No arrests have been made and an investigation is ongoing.
