Woman Slashed At 125th Street A/B/C/D Station: Report
A woman was slashed in the face at a Harlem subway station on Tuesday night, police said.

HARLEM, NY – At about 11 p.m. on Tuesday night, a woman was hospitalized after a man attacked her at the 125th Street A/B/C/D station on St. Nicholas Avenue, authorities said.
The 37-year-old woman was not only slashed in the face but thrown onto the train tracks during the assault, per the Daily News. The distance between the platform and the tracks? About three-and-a-half feet.
The woman knew her attacker, who is reportedly her ex-boyfriend.

Fortunately, no train was entering the station at the time of the incident, and the victim was able to climb back onto the platform on her own as her attacker fled the station to parts unknown.
She was transported to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital by private means in stable condition, officials said. According to the News, the victim took herself to the hospital.

Her attacker is reportedly about 5’9 and was wearing a black hoodie, a detail which a police spokesperson was able to confirm.
No arrests have been made and an investigation is ongoing.
