$1 Dispute Over Muffin Sends Police to St. Vincents
The following arrest report was provided by the Harrison Police Department, it does not indicate a conviction.

An argument over a muffin and a one-dollar bill sent Harrison Police to St. Vincent's Hospital Friday, after police say a teenager got into an argument with security in the hospital cafeteria.
According to staff members, a 16-year-old was in line to eat at the cafeteria at about 8:15 a.m. when he stuffed a muffin into his cargo pants. Police say when the teen reached the register he was charged $1 for the muffin, which led to a brief argument.
The disagreement ended with the teenager storming out of the cafeteria, but not before he removed the muffin from his pocket and placed it on a vending machine on his way out, police say. After a staff member ordered the teen to return to the cafeteria police say the teen walked to the register to continue his argument.

During the argument police say the teenager reached over the counter, pressed a button to open the register, and grabbed back the dollar he was charged.
Police were called in at this point, but upon arrival police say the teenager returned the dollar to staff at St. Vincent's and apologized. The hospital elected not to press charges and no arrest was made.
