2 From Harrison Graduate Convent of Sacred Heart

Two seniors from Harrison have graduated from Convent of the Sacred Heart, an independent Catholic day school in Greenwich, CT. 

Harrison 12th graders Eymie Prieto, who will attend Australian Catholic University in Melbourne, Australia, next year, and Ana Roman, who will attend Colgate University, graduated from the school on June 1.

NBC News Correspondent Tom Brokaw delivered the commencement address to the 163rd graduating class. He said this will be “the century when women finally take their rightful and fully recognized place in society here and around the world.”

The Class of 2012 included 61 graduates, all of whom will attend four-year colleges and universities in the fall.

Founded in 1848, Convent of the Sacred Heart is one of 22 U.S. schools in the Network of Sacred Heart Schools. Located at 1177 King Street in Greenwich, CT, Sacred Heart has an enrollment of 775 girls from preschool through 12th grade.
