Doggy Treat Truck Returning this Summer

Tails will be wagging across Harrison and Westchester County next week when the Best Friends Pet Care Treat Truck for Dogs visits local dog parks and other pet friendly locations with free cookies and ice cream for canines. 

The colorful, doggy-logo’d truck will tour the county from Thursday April 26 through Tuesday May 1.At each stop, the staff gives away doggy ice cream treats and cookies for pups and healthy treats for their humans, along with fun items like tennis balls, paw towels and paw-shaped bag clips.

Visits to the on Crystal Street are scheduled for Sunday, April 30, at 2:30 p.m. and Tuesday, May 1, at 2:30 p.m.

Other stops are planned in Bedford, Elmsford, Greenburgh, Larchmont, New Rochelle, Ossining, Rye, Scarsdale, Sleepy Hollow, White Plains, Valhalla and Yorktown Heights. For a detailed schedule of stops and times, click here

Best Friends created its Treat Truck for Dogs to give the community a taste of the fun and caring its staff provides to pet guests every day in its pet care centers. The Treat Truck has been on the road since last summer and has visited 12 states, traveling as far south as Florida and west to Texas.
