Harlem Wizards Dazzle Harrison All-Stars

The Harlem Wizards came to town and dazzled the Harrison all-star team and the community with their skillful basketball moves and entertaining antics last week.

The Wizards took on teachers and principals from the elementary schools as part of the Elementary Enrichment Committee’s Four School fundraiser. Principals Bob Torp from Parsons Elementary and Jeremy Barker from S.J. Preston Elementary served as referees.

The Elementary Enrichment program was established to support programs such as Theatre and Cultural Arts, the visiting authors program, scholarships and assemblies and workshops.

Through these sponsored programs the elementary aged students in the four schools gain experience in literature and the fine and performing arts.
