The Harrison Chorus Parents Association, in conjunction with producer and HHS Music Teacher, Lynn Fusco, held an Open Microphone Night at newly opened Mulberry Street, located at 189 East Post Road in White Plains.

The event, held on Saturday Feb. 11, was a fundraiser to benefit the Harrison High School Music Department’s upcoming trip to the Heritage Musical Festival in Chicago.

The night was filled with a wonderful sense of community.  Performers included faculty members in the Harrison Central School District (HCSD) and students at Harrison High School (HHS). Even alumni performed for the cause.

Several of the acts were collaborations of students and teachers, which provided a unique opportunity for the students. Additional fun and funds were raised from a live auction, emcee’d by HHS senior Cameron Ganis who also perfomed a rap song.
