Ballroom Dancing Classes Available in West Harrison

West Harrison dance enthusiasts of all ages will now have an opportunity to learn and participate in ballroom dancing.

After in the  over the winter, the Harrison Recreation Department is bringing the class to West Harrison. Classes started last week and will continue weekly until June 21. They are being held at the .

Classes are broken up into four age groups, with two elementary school classes, an introductory class and an adult class for both couples and singles held every Thursday. Tatyana Bilych will instruct each of the classes.

Among other things, ballroom dancing classes help increase balance, poise and coordination while improving positive body image and social etiquette.

The classes cost $100 for students and senior citizens and $125 for adults. Please call 914-886-2292 for more information.
