Fireworks a Go For July 4th Celebration
Harrison resident Roy Alletti announced recently that he has received enough donations to once again put on a fireworks display at the intersection of Halstead and Oakland Avenues.

Fireworks will again light up the sky over Oakland Avenue this Fourth of July, as the Harrison Town Board announced recently that the town has secured enough funds to host a fireworks display this year.
The annual fireworks display, funded almost entirely by local donations, is organized by Harrison resident Roy Alletti, who has told the board this year's event is a go.
Weather permitting, the fireworks display will begin at 9:30 p.m. near the intersection of Oakland and Halstead Avenue on July 4. A rain date has been set for July 7 at the same location.
