Harrison Area College to Offer Appraisal "Boot Camp"
Gallery Owners, gemologists, and other specialists from across the country will participate in the event.

From SUNY Purchase College:
Purchase, NY, - Purchase College-SUNY will hold its fifth annual appraisal camp from Saturday, June 4 through Sunday, June 19. The noncredit certificate program, run through the School of Liberal Studies & Continuing Education, is a partnership with the American Society of Appraisers (ASA). The intense two-week program, taught by accredited senior appraisers, has led more than 70 students toward ASA accreditation over the past five years.
Kelly Jackson, Director of the School of Continuing Education at Purchase College, said, “We’re proud of this unique program which provides the skills necessary to build a fulfilling career. We’re confident that by the time participants leave our campus that they have taken an important step toward becoming an appraiser or working as an appraisal expert in a gallery, auction house, or insurance company.”
