Harrison Central School District Proposes Budget Increase

The school's budget for 2017-18 stayed within the mandated tax levy cap.

HARRISON, NY—The proposed 2017-18 budget for the Harrison Central School District includes an increase of 1.78 percent over current spending.

Total proposed spending for the school year is $111,473,973. The proposed increase in the tax levy is 1.85 percent compared to the state mandated tax levy increase of 2 percent.

The school district will hold an informational hearing on the proposed budget on May 3. The vote on
the budget will be held on May 16.
