- TUESDAY: The Harrison Architectural Review Board is scheduled to meet at 7:30 p.m. at town Hall
- WEDNESDAY: Westchester County will commemorate the 12th anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001 7 p.m. Wednesday at The Rising, the county’s 9/11 memorial at the Kensico Dam in Valhalla. County Executive Robert P. Astorino, other elected officials and families of Westchester residents who died in the World Trade Center are expected to attend. A highlight of this year’s ceremony will be the dedication of a Ground Zero beam, which will be permanently placed at The Rising.
- THURSDAY: The Harrison Public Library will host singer Jeffrey Friedberg Thursday at 10:30 a.m. for a fun and funky musical experience. Sing and dance along to the witty and catchy tunes. All children welcome. Please leave strollers in the Children's room during the performance. The event is free and open to the public. The library is located at 2 Bruce Avenue in Harrison.
- FRIDAY: ArtsWestchester is exhibiting "A Horse, Of Course" from Friday, Sept. 13 to Saturday, Oct. 12. The exhibit will showcase contemporary interpretations of equestrian art, from regal thoroughbreds to whimsical carousel horses, across various media – sculpture, painting, photography, and drawing.
