Last Chance: SAT Registration Deadline

Our new Last Chance column, running every Tuesday, is an interactive guide for important signups, events and other activities you need to know about.

This week's deadlines include the last day for students to sign up for this spring's SAT. Students must file their information by Friday, April 6, in order to take the test.

Other Events and Deadlines:

• A blood drive honoring late Harrison Town Clerk Joseph Acocella Jr. will be held Wednesday from 1 to 6 p.m. at the West Harrison Annex Building. There will be another blood drive on Friday at the same time and location. for more details.
• Do you have unwanted mail, papers or other documents that you don't need but are too sensitive to throw in the trash? The town is bringing in a paper shredder for residents to use on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The machine will be placed in the commuter lot at Halstead and Harrison Ave.
