Police Looking For Man They Say Scammed 2 Local Stores

Police say man disputed cash refund from cashiers.

Harrison Police are looking for a man they say used a simple scheme to scam two local stores.

The thief is believed to have used a $100 bill to pay for a small purchase in each store. He then pocketed the change and claimed he had been shorted by the cashier.

Cashiers from both stores refunded the money the man claimed he was owed, police say. Police believe the suspect then left the area in a white Dodge Charger with Virginia license plate XGS4342.
